Officer Liaison Program was created and implemented
as a partnership with Residential Life assigning
an officer to give programs and information to
students.
Meet the new Crime Prevention
Coordinator at Public Safety
Escort Service is provided to
all students. If you need an escort to walk with
you across campus at night, please call x2525
or use an emergency telephone to contact Public
Safety.
Emergency Telephones are located
on campus grounds, in building lobbies, and in
elevators. All you have to do is pick-up the phone
or push the button to be connected with the Public
Safety Dispatcher.
Crime Prevention Boards and Postings
are located in the lobbies of butler, Federal,
Mary Gradon, Asbury, Ward, tthe sports Center,
Brandywine, Glover-Tunlaw, at the rockwood Shuttle
stop, in the Mary Gradon commutor lounge, the
Nebraska Parking Lot, and several other locations
on campus. Students will find crime prevention
boards which list monthly crime statistics, crime
reports, alerts, and prevention tips as well as
other relevant safety information.
The Campus Sex Crimes Prevention
Act (section 1601 of Public Law 106-386) provides
for the tracking of convicted, registered sex
offenders working or volunteering on campus, or
enrolled as students at institutions of higher
education.
