Incident:

On Wednesday, 28 August 2002, someone removed a wallet from an office desk in Battelle. The complainant was returning to his office when he observed a stranger exiting it. He checked his desk drawer and discovered the wallet missing. He immediately called Public Safety and began canceling his cards. The wallet was later found in a trashcan with all the cards intact but with cash and a Metrocard missing. A coworker in the office at the time of the theft did not see the stranger enter.

Description of Suspect:

Black male, approximately 5’11,” muscular build, short hair, wearing a black Polo shirt and black pants.

Safety Tips:

Keep your valuables on you or secured in a lockable container.

Arrange your office so you can observe the entire space, especially entrances and exits.
