Incident:

On January 29, 2001 at 1:50 am, a resident student reported a male confronted and assaulted her on the pathway between Hughes and McDowell Halls. Investigation is continuing.

Description of Suspect:

White male, 5’10- 6’2” tall, thin build, wearing a black skullcap and a dark jacket.

NOTE:
Since this report, rumors have circulated about several similar assaults on the north side. This incident is the only one of its type on record.

If you have any information relating to this incident, or witness suspicious activity, please contact University Police at x3636.

Safety Tips:

Always walk on well-lighted pathways in sight of other persons.
If confronted, consider making noise to attract attention.
